This is Version No. 02 of TMUGPITW - Working with Ryan Mooney of The Wool Hats String Band we refined The Most Unique Guitar Pick In The World and made it even better.

Now this unique guitar pick functions as well as it looks. We went a complete different route with this design. The old version featured additional geometry but we discovered that circle packing gives the pick adequate structural support so we were able to eliminate that extra weight. We made the pick concave on both sides.

Now, no matter how you hold the pick, it will be comfortable and give you a great amount of grip.

These guitar picks were made using a mathematical process called circle packing. Looking at the piece, you can probably figure out what circle packing entails. The hard part is getting the circles done just right and the design perfectly optimized so that these guitar picks can even be made.
