Hringpoki fidget coins modeled after Icelandic coin sizes.
Two Sizes: 10 Krónur and 1 Króna
Copper, brass, and bronze coins are made using lost wax metal casting and then hand polished.
Our steel+ coins are made with a layered steel powder that is heated in an industrial autoclave and infused with bronze. This method gives each stone a unique stepping pattern that looks almost like the whorls of a fingerprint.
Laser steel+ and titanium coins a laser sintering technology that provides a dimensionally accurate reproduction.
The formation of volcanic stone in Iceland inspired this design. As lava hardens the various gas bubbles trapped inside the cooling stone create bubble shaped voids. These trapped bubbles of gas are called vesicles.
We use the hringpoki technique to create an approximation of the pattern of bubbles left behind in the rock.
